A whole new world awaits community pharmacy, says Michael McGuigan, PCN lead for Wallasey and Chief Pharmacist at James Cubbins & Sons.
A mix of “frustration and optimism” characterises Michael McGuigan’s view of primary care networks (PCNs) so far. The Chief Pharmacist at Wirral’s James Cubbins & Sons was initially apprehensive to get involved when approached by a local GP. But, he says, it “made me take a deeper look into what a PCN was. I just had to get involved as the possibilities for our profession to advance itself are endless.”
