NPA response on consultation to establish a statutory Register of pharmacy technicians for Northern Ireland
The NPA welcomes proposals for the Pharmaceutical Society NI to establish a register for pharmacy technicians. We believe that this will be an important step in enabling the delivery of more pharmacy services throughout the profession, but recognise that there must be urgent activity on the outstanding actions to address workforce pressures for pharmacists in the DoH Pharmacy Workforce Review 2020. We await the consultation on possible routes to this qualification and the registration process. Read the NPA response here
