Pharmacy placements for students in England
Universities who teach pharmacy will want to provide local placements in community pharmacies for students. If you would like to offer clinical placements and would be happy to have a pharmacy student work in your premises fill in this form here.
We will then share your details with the universities. Please note: If you are based in the south and have already filled in a form for Portsmouth university placements there is no need to do this.
Racism survey
The NPA is collecting examples of good employment practices in relation to inclusion, diversity and equality. Currently we are considering in particular how to manage and eliminate racial discrimination in the workplace. Complete this short survey here.
Making charitable donations / providing aid and supporting people from Ukraine
NPA Members may be considering how they may be able to offer employment opportunities to people who have come to the UK from Ukraine, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who qualified in Ukraine. NPA Menopause and HRT hub
An NPA Menopause and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) dedicated hub has been published to support members. It includes common HRT queries, availability, alternatives and charges. You can also access the latest updates regarding menopause and HRT including clinical guidelines and alternative therapies, signposting, Government consultations and Serious Shortage Protocols (SSP).
